Direct debits: making them easy

Direct debits and recurring payments are convenient ways to pay for everything from gym memberships to insurance premiums. These quick guide videos show you how to update them to your new NAB Rewards Classic Card Card.

What's changing:

  • You'll get a new card with a new number, CVV and expiry date. If you have an additional cardholder, the details on their card will be different too.
  • Your interest free period is changing from 55 days to 44 days1 - which means you'll also have a new payment due date. Your new payment due date will be 10 business days from your next statement.
  • While the Visa Mini cash back offer isn't available with NAB Rewards, you can use your NAB Rewards Points to claim cash instantly2.

What stays the same:

  • You'll receive the same interest rate and credit limit.
  • If you're currently using a PIN, this won't change. If you're not using a PIN, we'll send you one.
  • Your linked NAB accounts – like your savings or cheque account – will stay linked.
  • You'll still have any NAB Credit Card Cover3 that applies, as well as your Purchase Protection insurance4.
  • Your statement settings and transaction history will still be available.
