Dove Hair: Crown


We kicked off the year with a music partnership for Dove Hair featuring superstar Kelly Rowland—an original anti-hair bullying anthem, “Crown,” which encourages girls to #wearitproud. This song and music video generated nearly 1 billion impressions, increased the brand’s power score, and earned social media posts from global influencers such as Sam Smith and Shonda Rhimes. This activity won WWD Marketing Campaign of the Year.


Comfort: Se Essa Roupa Fosse Minha


In Brazil, we launched a 13-part TV series bespoke to Comfort’s brand purpose of sustainable fashion which resulted in 100% positive reactions online. In a true partnership with the network, Unilever only covered 30% of the show’s budget. This co-funding model was a first of its kind in Brazil and earned significant media coverage from publications including Meio&Mensagem and Vogue.


Dove Self-Esteem Project: Steven Universe


Our content partnership with Cartoon Network just won 3 Clio Entertainment Awards and also achieved another 20 million lives reached for the Dove Self-Esteem Project.


Dove Men + Care: Dads


Our 90-minute documentary “Dads,” created by Ron Howard and his daughter Bryce Dallas Howard featuring comedians such as Will Smith, premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and was acquired by Apple the same day for worldwide distribution in 2020. The money from the film’s sale will go into the Dove Men+Care Global Paternity Leave Fund.
